I just made a similar project, but I used some left over fabric scraps of woven cotton, and I filled them with pine needles from my balsam Christmas tree! They smell great and I use the little pillows as a support for my iPad so I can type at an angle! The pine scent helps me to feel fresh, alert and comforted! I made lavender ones for gifts last year, picking it fresh and laying it out to dry! That scent is relaxing! Fun project and it turned out great and so easy too!

What a great idea and a lot prettier than those envelope pouches you buy. How did I overlook this. I love my house smelling amazing and spray with my homemade lavender spray I made with essential oil and water and I spray everything but putting these sachets in drawers to make them smell great is a good idea. So super easy to make and it is a great beginner project. If you have a vacation home this is a great way to keep it fresh smelling. Leave them in the drawers when you are gone and the place will smell like home when you visit. I love the idea to make the fabric look vintage too for a different look.Great idea and tutorial.
