What a practical project to use scraps for a placemat! I could see changing up the shapes using triangles or even patterns like tumbling block if you really want to get fancy! Matching napkins would be great too! This would also be a fun project for girls to learn sewing, or for a group or class to bring in all their scraps to,share, mix and match! Fun and practical too!
