What a great gift idea for that someone who has everything or someone who is redecorating or even a house warming gift. These reversible placemats are so fast and easy to make. If you are like me and can not find any you like then why not make your own. Make a few for different occasions,Holidays or themes. Super tutorial. Anyone can make these.

I must admit I remember my mother sitting in front of her sewing machine making place mats in all different sizes and shape in all the colors one can imagine. As a newbie in sewing I started with making place mats. This is ideal to practise those difficult to make corners. As I advanced in sewing I also made place mat's in different shapes and yes of course the reversible place mat. I have not made place mat's for years and I have decided I am going to make my grandchildren their very own personalized place mat. A photo image of them on their very own place mat. What do you think.... this might just remedy the who is sitting where arguments. Now it is 'you are sitting where you are placed' . Enjoy making your place mat's, I know I am.
