These are classic placemats with a vintage flair however I am not sure what makes them retro, perhaps the bright floral print? Or is it that they are matching napkins and placemats? Either way, the additional added embroidery-like stitching applied to the floral pattern does give them a style I like.

I love the fabric and the colors on this napkin and placemats they match my kitchen colors and this is a great way to dress up your table. They are so easy and fast to make and all you need to do is decide your fabric, cut it out and sew. Make some extras because you can use them for gifts. If you have ever wanted to make some for yourself but were afraid to try then get your fabric and let's get started. You will be glad you did.
