Pillowcase Pattern with Cuff
This Pillowcase Pattern with Cuff sports a hidden little cuff inside that holds the pillow in place and doesnt let it scoot out when you're sleeping. Even better, this is the perfect pillowcase tutorial if you're sewing with kids. It mostly involves sewing straight lines, so it's great for beginners using the sewing machine for the first time. Your kids will love making their own pillowcases, especially since they can customize them with fun fabric, like the flamingo-printed material shown here. These would make great handmade gifts from your child to relatives, too.

This is a good beginner's tutorial for the new seamstress. Sewing straight lines, choosing the fabric colors makes this easy to complete this project. I would recommend this as a project for beginners or someone as myself to sew. I think satin pillowcases would be very inexpensive and easy to make from this as well.
