Wrap Skirt from a Sarong

"When I was given a beautiful Indonesian sarong I was desperate to wear it but knew I'd never be comfortable if I just tied it on so I turned it into and easy to wear wrap skirt. It was very simple to convert it, just added a few darts and seams, a waist band and button. It is easy, using your own measurements, to turn your own sarong into an easier to wear skirt. The finished look will depend on your original sarong fabric, mine has a gold thread so it's perfect for work or an evening out."
