No Sew DIY Ironing Board
Tired of dragging your bulky ironing board into your sewing room just to press a few seams? Say hello to this No Sew DIY Ironing Board, a mini DIY ironing board that is made from upcycling furniture. Instead of selling an old unused table at a garage sale, you can staple fabric to it and be ready to iron in a matter of minutes. Use a small sized table, such as a TV dinner table, which will fit perfectly in your sewing space. No sew projects like this one are easy ways to improve your living spaces without spending a dime.

I took this a step further and screwed a thick piece of 'leftover' board to the top of a ClosetMaid cabinet. This made storage for pressing supplies and a good, wide padded surface.

Thank you so much for this idea! My big ironing board takes up too much space in my already cluttered work space whereas there is the perfect nook available for a small ironing table. I seem to think there is an small unused table in the man's work space so I am impatiently waiting for him to arrive home so that I can wheedle it out of him, lol!

I'm thrilled to have come upon this pattern as I often see these being sold at quilt shows. I didn't realize how simple it was to make one of my own. I don't have many quilt shops in my area other than Joann's store. Where would anyone suggest ordering home dec fabric from online?

A no-sew DIY ironing board cover for a collapsible table is perfect for crafting. Keeping a full sized ironing board up when crafting a few small items is a hassle. The instructions and tutorial are clearly written. The table cover is stapled to the underside of the table. A light weight manual staple gun is useful for best results.
