Where has this tutorial been. I wish I saw this a long time ago but that is alright I will be using it now. I make tired skirts all the time for my grand daughter and I wanted to switch it up and make them into a dress so I have been searching for a top pattern and I come across this great idea to use a tee shirt. What a pretty dress and you can even use some used tee shirts. I will be adding these to my grand daughters closet soon. The skirts are really easy to make. Thanks for a great tutorial and great idea.

This is a great project to make for a young girl. It will make an original dress and won't cost a lot of money. I remember when I was that age, I just wanted a lot of dresses and choices in my wardrobe. This would do it. Great design.
