Cute, but I would never make these as shown. Paperclips damage the pages of the books, so they are as bad as dog-earing the pages, or tearing off the corner of a page. If you attach the heart/flower motif to a length of ribbon, then you have a good bookmark that's easy to make, and safe to use, even in your finest books.
