I have just added The Diy Ironing Board Organizer to my list of projects. This one is gorgeous I can not believe I have never made one of these before myself! Why? I have the same problem as the author, my board ends up messy after any sewing session, and I have been guilty of this for years and years. Ok, I have to get on this soon. By the way, I was drooling over the beautiful picture of the old ironing board Thnk you for providing this organizing solution.

Great idea for easy access to sewing notions needed when ironing a project, quilt block, etc. One of the next projects on my sewing schedule.

What a great idea for organizing one very important work stations for a quilter or sewist! I now that I always have scissors and other items that need to be corralled on my ironing board. I might enlarge the pattern a bit to make room for my spray bottle of water and maybe my can of spray starch too. How would you customize your organizer? What would you include in your organizer?

This is a perfect addition to any ironing board, an organizer for the sewing clutter that inevitably collects on the end of the board. Now that I have one attached to my ironing board, I seriously wonder how I ever did without it. This one is easy to make and just lovely.
