I Iove these coasters...and you don't have to limit yourself to using the fabric you create just for coasters. Sachets, ornaments, hot pads, hostess gifts fit the bill. While reading the instructions, it did take me a little bit before I realized this is basically a foundation pieced project. The "fabric" creating does go quickly as you are making a blanket of fabric, then cutting out and embellishing your pattern.
