Scrap denim ideas are my favorite. Never thought though of turning those fabric scraps into table napkins. The terry cloth backing makes this scrap fabric project a treasure. Great for an outdoor picnic for a warm country feel. Make a bunch and tie together with a red bandana for a nice gift idea.

I'm still new to sewing, but these still look easy enough that I can do them. And they're really cute too! They'll be nice to have for when company comes over, instead of just using boring old paper napkins.

I have been saying now for months that I need to make some napkins because we use so many paper towels and it is bad for our earth.I have plenty of fabric just always look over this project. This tutorial reminded me how easy they are to make. I really like the denim and I have all kinds of jeans that do not fit that I can use.I like the ribbon that is tied around the napkins for gift giving. Anyone think this is a great idea?

BestIdeaEver! What a great Idea! I'm a beginner and I am going to save this pattern and make it one of my firsts projects!!! It is going to make a cute gift!

These are lovely, casual and practical. They would look great on my pine harvest table.#BestIdeaEver.

#BestIdeaEver I have lots of old jeans, and I think my children will enjoy using these.

#BestIdeaEver Great project for 3 grade school girls to do with their too small jeans on a rainy day.

#BestIdeaEver Just snagged up all my boys old jeans! We won't run short of napkins this summer!

#bestideaever So practical and simple to make, I think a thinner denim would be ideal. They would be long lasting too.

What a great way to use old jeans! These would be perfect for an outdoor barbecue this summer.
