Upcycled jeans back pockets into potholders is a great way to reuse old jeans and fabric scraps too. Maybe some Insul-brite or 100% cotton batting would be a necessary addition to this project since protection from the heat of a hot pot or oven is a consideration. Otherwise, great explanation on how to duplicate the potholders.

This is such a unique use of jeans pockets. We all have a pair that we no longer wear and this could be one way to recycle at least part of the pair. (I bet if you look on line, you can find another project to use all or most parts of the jeans)

I can appreciate these easy pocket potholders and the many uses for them. When looking for a potholder in the large box stores, items like these are pretty expensive. I like being able to customize home decor even in the kitchen, so making up a few of these is a great idea. In addition, seasonally print patterns is a wonderful idea for gifts.
