I was curious over the title Altered Oven Mitts and wonder how they would be transformed in some way. Adding a pretty fabric binding to the bottom edges really can personalize the handy kitchen mitts. Great for gift giving too just add a handy kitchen utensil and tie all together.

I don[t think this one really fits the bill of handmade. All you're doing is putting a binding on already made oven mitts. Actually making oven mitts is not that hard. I would rather have a tutorial on that.

I would love to make these Altered Oven Mitts as I am very new to sewing and I think they would make a great small gift with a personal touch. But can anyone tell me WHERE on Amazon I can buy them. I have searched and searched but cannot seem to find a pair like the ones shown. HELP
