The inspired hand stitched Swedish Dala horse ornament is quite endearing. The instructions inform to use a cookie-cutter for the shape in making a template. A template may be hand drawn as well. The colorful embroidery brings to mind the Swedish folk tradition of hand crafting the childs toy horse out of wood.
