Love the idea of Christmas hearts to hang as ornaments from a tree. I imagine the red and white hearts might see double duty for Valentines Day as part of a garland or to adorn simple white birch tree branches in a vase. Nice scrap fabric project since the hearts are cut as only five inch squares and stuffed a bit for dimension.
