What a cute kitchen towel. The Burberry plaid applique is what caught my eye. I really like the look however I imagine any wintery looking plaid flannel might be just as charming. Stitching down the applique with a zig zag stitch around the antlers is a challenge but doable at slow machine speeds.

Here is a super cute kitchen towel for that deer lover that will have people talking. I like that it is so simple easy to make in no time at all and love the plaid. You just use pre-purchased towels and print a picture off of google, transfer and zig zag around fabric cut picture. What great gifts these would make. Leave it plain or add some trims. I would problary use ric-rac. Nice idea.

It may not be winter, but this craft is so cute, I might try it now! I really like that you've included a patterned deer on the towel. It's a simple design that really makes the color and its details pop.

What an adorable design. I like that it isn't set to one holiday. It can be used thru Fall and Winter. And finding a different deer to use was fun. In fact I found an entire family of deer. This is going to be so cute. I love it. Thank you so much for sharing.

I like the idea of finding a photo or pattern, tracing it and using it to make tea towels with class! One could substitute different fabric to make a Christmas themed towel or even a pillow. The addition of pom pom trim makes this towel look very cute. What do you think of using a dark blue fabric with polka dots for the deer and matching pom pom or rick rack trim?

Hi! If you read the instructions further, the blogger explains that she searched for "deer head" in google and simple traced a photo from there. If you go to www.google.com, search "deer head" and then click images, one should come up! If that doesn't work, try "deer silhouette" or "deer head silhouette". Hope that helps, Kaylee, Editor of AllFreeSewing.com
