Cute and easy idea for using a sweater that has seen better days! I think I would add a few contrasting embellishments like an ornament ball or simple holly leaf to give some green to offset the red a bit. Though plain and simple is nice too! Depending on what was used for the wreath frame, the sweater thickness might be a factor. The straw wreath form used for this project helps to provide solid form and therefore would work well with a thinner sweater too!
