This is one of my favorite scrapbuster ideas. I added this pattern from another website onto an old computer and made a set..when I transferred my data, my "favorites" from the internet did not transfer over..I am so glad it is on allfreesewing.com because when I tried making them from memory, it was a "no go". Now I can make these for friends as hostess gifts, birthday presents, Christmas, etc.

This folded fabric square coaster is perfect to make more than one in under an hour. Quick and easy with minimal sewing too! I appreciate all speedy homemade Christmas projects that use up fabric leftovers yet look this elegant and appropriate for gift giving. Add a ribbon tie to one corner and have an ornament to hang on the tree as well.

Am I the only one getting super excited about Christmas? I'm starting to think of decorating my festive table and these will make a really good start. I'm considering making my coasters, napkins and table mats in the same fabric to make the look really coordinated, but I'm a bit worried it might be over the top. Would really appreciate any ideas or advice.

Make them all coordinated. After that (maybe next year) you can make some plain colors and mix and match!
