Our daughter is just learning to use a sewing machine and (with a little help from me with fitting the zipper) made one of these yesterday after school. She's so happy with it that she now wants to make one for each of her friends! The tutorial is super easy to follow although it does take a little longer than 15 minutes to make.

This sparkly Christmas pillow cover is very easy to make. The accompanying tutorial to make the pillow includes a super simple way to add a zipper opening. The zipped pillow cover stays nicely on the inserted pillow. I found using the sharpest sewing machine needle possible and sturdy poly wrapped cotton thread work best.
