These are cute. Lace makes anything look great. I have done this to both my daughter and granddaughters shorts and pants. You can also add a thicker lace to give them more depth.I have used crochet lace,flat and gathered in many colors. I love this and a good way to use long pants that have gotten too short. Who else has made these?

The lace detail on this pattern really sets these apart from plain old denim shorts. I don't think I would make these Bermuda style, but I love the idea!
