Even though this Madeleine Pleated Bag project is rated Intermediate the instructions are so detailed and with very easy to follow photos that it is simply not possible to go wrong. I made the first one in a riot of different floral prints and now I am busy with a second one in slightly more subdued fabrics but still gorgeous to look at.

If you have looked at the prices of some of these designer bags, making your own is quite appealing because you not on,y save a bundle of money, but you can opt for the fabric pattern color and look you want. This pattern delivers, and I think it would be a good addition to anyone's tote bag stash!
