I never thought of using a hair straightener to press me hems but what a great idea. I could have used this technique when I forgot to bring my iron to a friends house because most women have one. I agree with LynM tat sometimes just simple things help sometimes. A very good idea. Thanks.

The video tips from Sewing Bee Fabrics contain some really useful information. Just simple little things that save time and help to make your sewing experience a little less frustrating. This tip, in particular, is such a neat idea if youre rushing to finish a garment and just want to get things done as quickly as possible. The only problem is, as my hair is now cut very short, I gave my Hair Straightener away to my daughter. Sigh!
