Hi there Ask93. I agree this is a really stylish way to turn a drab sweatshirt into a stylish new top. You'd have to be clever to weave around stains and marks - but it's not impossible. I'm not so sure about jeans - they fray a lot more than sweatshirt fabric. You might end up with a lot of loose ends.

Ok, this is perfect for saving some of my sweaters from the rag bin. I have several shirts that got stained from cooking or painting and i could do this techniques to cover up the stains. All I need to do is make sure I make the cuts in the right place. I can do this on T-shirts or sweatshirts. I wonder if this would also work on my jeans? I have this ink stain on my jeans and I was considering a patch but this looks neat. Has anyone tried to do this on denim?
