Assembling and sewing soft books for kids is definitely a delight. From deciding on a theme, choosing just the right fabric scraps, assembling the book all and all the while thinking of the child that will receive it. As the instructions indicate, adding more than two pages can become a sewing challenge. Important to consider the age of the child when adding small items.

I checked out the tutorial. It does not seem to be a safe item for small children. They would pick that plastic apart in no time and put a small "I spy" item in a little mouth before you know it.
