I really like the idea that this stocking is so simple for a beginner that even a child can make them for Christmas and design their own to hang up for Christmas. This is also a great way to teach them how to sew. If you do not have any children then you can just make then for yourself or family member. There is even a downloadable free pattern. Nice easy tutorial. Are you making one yourself.

What a great way to introduce kids to sewing by using this stocking pattern. Simple to follow instructions and straight lines to sew. Perfect. Using felt as fabric is a great way to build confidence for kids as they learn to sew straight lines as felt is so very forgiving. Practice makes perfect.
