We all have a stash of old Christmas sweaters long past their prime. Give them a second life with these DIY Upcycled Christmas Stockings! Homemade stockings are such a nice decorative touch at Christmas, and these adorable DIY stockings won't cost you a penny to make. Use a few different sweaters to give them a nice patterned look that ties the set together without being identical. There is always room for more stockings over the mantel (and always space in the toes for more candy).

Here is another great sweater stocking made with different prints instead of stripes. I like this one and if you are not a stripe person you may like this better. So simple just cut out the pieces to your liking and sizes you want. The back can be solid if you like. Put the name on by embroider or glitter glue. Add a pompom on top if you like.
