An owl pillow is a whimsical addition to any room, particularly charming for a kids bedroom. Although the instructions seem to be available in a free eBook to download (a fairly large file) it is easy enough to use the cute picture of the owl sitting on a tree branch, draw one free hand, and cut out fabric pieces and fusible web to apply to a plain pillow cover.

I enjoy going through the patterns ideas you so generously give. This is a great place to visit, you never leave empty handed. Now I seem to have a problem.I downloaded the e-book just to discover that the Who's Looking at Me doesn't have the template for the owl. Was it meant to have the template or is it that I'm not looking at the right place? Thank you Claudette

Hi cllegault 3233543, This project uses an owl die cut you can purchase from Sizzix. You should be able to find that die cut at their site if you are looking for it. Additionally, you could easily find another applique pattern to use or even draw your own owl from the photo! Hope that helps, Kaylee, Editor of AllFreeSewing
