Little French Pillowcase Dress
The Little French Pillowcase Dress is adorable, easy, and cheap - what more can you ask for? You can put this dress together in just a couple of hours, though it takes a bit longer if you want to add applique or embroidery as embellishments.
This is a great chance to practice refashioning clothes, and puts good use to any old pillowcases you have lying around! This dress works great as a nightgown or a daytime dress. The boxy collar gives this dress a classic, pretty look that's perfect for playtime.

I have made a similar style dress for, little ones and have seen other pillowcase dresses, but this one has some real style and flair! With so many estate sales, the older beautiful embroidered cases can still be found. I have several from my own mother and grandmother that has beautiful crochet work on the edge, and another floral embroidery, that would really lend themselves to this little dress pattern! Would be fun to,hit the estate sales with this project in mind!

A very pretty pillowcase dress with a different flair. The tutorial is easy to follow. Love the pillowcases already finished edging. Nice idea. A tiny applique would even dress up a plain white pillow case. A tie-dyed process applied to a white pillowcase then make the dress might be a fun summer project too.

This baby dress is simple, but that's part of what makes it so special. It just looks too sweet to pass up!
