Any item of clothing which needs to go over the baby's head, or has lots of fiddly buttons can be especially cumbersome. I like the baby kimono onesie idea with side ties instead of so many snaps. This wrap style has some snaps at the bottom however I imagine they could be left off. Only a little more than yard of a knit fabric or perhaps softest flannel is needed to make this kimono.
