Soo simple, my boy loves his new drying coat, made from polar fleece blanket that bought for 2.50 and have enough material to make a second

What a great idea to use a fleece blanket for this winter dog coat. I saw one that had dog paws on it and almost bought it to make something for my dog but did not. Now I will have to see if I can find it again. Do you think it has enough material for a Boxer? I love how yours turned out and love the fabric. I wish they had made a video because I find it hard to understand. I think I will still give it a try. Thanks for pictures.

Hello all! We realize there is not a photo on this pattern. Unfortunately the designer and original post do not provide one. If you do decide to make this project, please send us a photo and we will feature it above! Thanks, Kaylee, Editor of AllFreeSewing.com

No picture!

the link to the pattern brought me to an article on clumping bamboo

Hi! Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I have relinked the project and you should be able to follow the link to the correct page now. Thanks so much! Kaylee, Editor of AllFreeSewing.com

A picture of the coat & pattern would be nice.

It would be nice if there was a photo of this to give you an idea.

no photo of a dog coat?

no picture

It took a little time to find the pattern. Click above to go to the pattern page, then click to print. That will bring up the sheet with the pattern pieces, etc. Grand dog is a greyhound and she is hard t o fit. The description says it's good for greyhounds, we'll see!

no picture??? makes the pattern more problematic for use

Ok I found it. I'm not using zippers I plan on using velcro for pocket.

Same problem no pattern

no diagrams when printing out pattern

Hi Spiderbird, When you click through to the pattern on Burke's Backyard, if you select 'Print this Page' at the bottom of the article, it will bring up a separate screen with the pattern and diagrams. You can then print from there. Hope this helps! - editors of AllFreeSewing

very cute and warm looking. Photo on bottom of pattern sheet which i found after clicking on sewing pattern.came right up

no picture what is the point of the offer?

Like every other comment: There are no patterns or diagrams. Very disappointing, even more so, that it hasn't been addressed for so long.

here is the link and you can trust this website it came from it will work ..... http://www.burkesbackyard.com.au/1998/archives/26?p=2687

bits, the problem is not the link, the problem is there are zero illustrations or diagrams or pictures in the article.

need to see .

Did you forget to add a picture of the project? I won't be sewing this until I see a photo of the finished project.

I think this is like putting a carrot on a stick - you think it's something good but it is unattainable. MAYBE some are super duper sewers and can figure it out without even a picture - I would bet most will be nothing but disappointed.

No diagram or conversion for centimeters. I won't be using this.

You get nothing from this post, no picture, no pattern, nothing.....

There is no diagrams.

Idid not get the pattern diagram

Hi pdaniher, Unfortunately the pattern designer did not provide a photo or diagram. We apologize for the inconvenience. Thanks!

There are NO diagrams, NO pattern. Come on. You can do better.

at leastput in a diagram,or a picture, or somthing..../ thanks a lot.

It doesn't show the pic what it look like. This is not helping any. Thank you very much.

I agree: the pattern does not open up. But, since I can take an old pillowcase and draft a pattern there is not a problem. Web site needs to be updated to be more user friendle.

PROBLEMS SOLVED!! Click on the link in this article for "Click Here for Sewing Pattern". You go to the Burke's Backyard website where the Winter Dog Coat article exists in ful text. At the bottom of that article, there is a button to "Print this Page". Press that button. You get the pattern, a picture of a dog with the coat, a list of materials, and complete instructions -- all in 2 printed pages. Confusing, I know, but I tripped over the fact that what you get in the print-out doesn't match what you see on the "page" at the Burke's Backyard website and saw that it resolved a lot of concerns posted by others here.

Thanks for the hints. I had no problems printing the pattern.

I don't wish to print a pattern before I even get to view it tho.

The links are obviously broken. No pictures or diagrams.

I can't even get the page to come up when I "click here for pattern" !!

You will find a pic and pattern if you click on Click Here for Sewing Pattern. Then on Print this page at bottom of instructions. It gives an 3 page fact sheet with a pic & instructions on it.

no picture to go by makes it very hard to do.

not only no pics to go by but istructions not great and no american style measurements I dont' do cm s lol tooo old to learn now so measurements in inchs would be greatly appreciated

If you click on "click here for sewing pattern," you will see instructions for making the bag.

no pattern

I'm having a hard time understanding how this goes together. A photo would be very helpful.
