A fab little find, my hound broke her claws while ago and had to have a bandage which she was constantly chewing I wish I had found this pattern then as one of these would be perfect to pop over the top to protect it whilst out on a walk. The patterns is really easy to follow and can be adapted for any paw size by adijusting the amount of elastic you use, as a greyhound she has rather skinny legs so it is good to make my own and doesn't use much fabric.

Hi There I am thrilled with your pattern. My neighbors young golden got ejected out of the car window of an antique classic because an impatient other car driver was ticked that they were driivng slow and when he got passed my neighbor he slammed on the brakes and the dog was ejected out the window his pads got damaged and he is now having to wear socks to protect his paws I am going to make these for him.

Hi, very ingenious; you didnt mention how long the elastic was.Do you have to measure the dog I guess? Great idea though. Your dog is beautiful! I guess you adopted him; think its great they do that now instead of destroying them. Keep up the good work. Pgh. Phyl

I agree ... the coat is great; would really appreciate it if you shared the pattern/instructions for this as well. Thomas is a great dane/lab mix. He isn't a horse by any means but even the XL dog coats sold in stores don't come close to fitting him.

I would love the pattern for the coat your dog has on! I have a boxer and i have looked everywhere for a coat for her! She has a very large chest and it has been difficult to find one that fits. Your's looks like it would be perfect!
