Hi Sandi C... You should be fine using a regular needle for the seersucker fabric. It is a puckered cotton weave, but not stretchy knit, so a ball needle isn't necessary. This is an adorable pattern. For those a bit nervous to embroider the bunny's face, you can opt for either fabric markers, or sew on buttons for the eyes, cut a triangle nose out of some, pink felt, and some pipe cleaners for whiskers! Always fun to be creative! Thanks for sharing!

I never seen a bag done out of seer sucker before but this is beautiful and the lining adorable.I am going to use fur for the ears and tail. And I am going to use the face pattern, ears and tail on a small tote for my grandson. This tutorial is so super cute and the picture of how to's are great. Thanks a bunch.

I love the bunny bag! My three girls are sitting here swooning over it and they are teenagers! We do have two bunnies so we are very partial to anything with a bunny on it. I thought the lining fabric was super cute too. I haven't sewn with sear sucker fabric. Is there anything special to know about it? For instance, would I need a ball point needle or anything?
