This is a wonderful and easy quilt to make using old clothes. My sisters and I are working on several from our Mom's clothes...they will make great memory wall hangings. We have found that you can "mix" fabrics, i.e knit.s and woven, as well as finer fabrics. All you need to do is add iron on fusibles to the fabric backs to help match the weight of the "heavier" fabrics.
