Upcycled Man's Shirt to Bardot Top
Add a stylish top to your everyday look when you make this Upcycled Man's Shirt to Bardot Top! The easy sewing project is a fun and thrifty way to be on trend.
From the blogger: "I made a Bardot top from a man's old cotton dress shirt. The upcycling process took less than a day and can even be done in half a day if you are good at sewing. The final top can be worn many ways, including off the shoulder, with shoulders slightly peaking, and with the ruffles up. This is a great top to make for the spring or summer months! All you need is your trusty sewing machine, scissors, tailor pins, and ruler."

I don't know why i am looking at this summer top right now but i am loving this gingham shirt fabric trend. This refashion is one of my best ones. Bardot tops are light and breezy and once you look and this tutorial, you'll realize why they are so popular. Combine it with the off the shoulder trend and you get a flowy summer top.

This beachy Bardot style top fashioned from a mans shirt is charming. I love the thrifty-ness of using an existing shirt. The associated photos along with the instructions show how easy it is to do. The deep ruffle is a clever idea and gives the shirt style. Great upcycle idea!
