    Sapporo Coat Pattern Review

"Finding a beautiful lime wool blanket in a thrift shop I knew it was time to face my apprehension, stop hesitating and make a lined coat. The Sapporo coat is a good pattern to follow for first-time coat makers - I love the diagonal seams at the front, which I have emphasized with the ribbon from the blanket (on the blog post is details as to how to do this yourself). The pattern is adapted from 3/4 to full length sleeves, tapered in. Why not have a go at making a coat yourself ith a former blanket?"
