"Here's a fun way to give a sweatshirt or t-shirt a whole new look. I had a sweatshirt with a large slogan on the front which, to be honest I really didn't understand! Must be my age! It was a really comfy nice quality sweatshirt so I gave it a makeover and made it more wearable for me with some patchwork and hand embroidery. The makeover took a couple of evenings, most of the time was spent on the hand embroidery, and now I have a comfy and wearable new sweatshirt. This idea could work on any item of clothing with a slogan or illustration that you don't like, and you are not restricted with just a heart shape, you could make a star maybe, or simple flower shape, whatever takes your fancy. "
