Denim Patchwork Quilted Star Decorations

"I know you might not think denim is a traditional material you'd think of making Christmas decorations with, but if you like the rustic look it is great fun to repurpose your old jeans into festive decorations. I've made mini Christmas trees before but this time I have decided to make star decorations. I made the stars patchworked, so I got to use denim in a variety of shades of indigo. I love them so much I think I will keep them up all year round. This craft is a simple introduction to patchwork."
