This is a great idea and a very well made tutorial. I love when there are pictures added so you can see what is being done. What a great way to use a shirt that does not fit anymore and a clever idea to use a old sheer sheet for the ruffles. This is great for someone who has a little one in ballet or just wanting to dress up as a ballerina. This is a good short cut from making from scratch. So for anyone out there who wants to make one inexpensive Here You Go and if no sheer curtains someone suggusted old tee shirt or you could look at thrift store. They almost always have sheers cheap.

This would be cute using old white tee-shirts for the ruffles if you don't have any sheer curtains.

Super cute...I looked through all your pix and I love how you use things like pillow cases, ect. I have some random pillow cases that would make great dresses! :D Keep up the good work! :D

This is really cute. I don't have a little girl to sew for anymore, however, using this technique, one could make a really fashionable dress up outfit for a "girl" of any age!
