Follow these simple pin cushion patterns to create little sewing projects you'll love. You can even use them as decorative ornaments to hang in your craft room! The Mod Lil' Animal Pincushions will not fail to put a smile on your face.
 

Materials:

  • Felt (wool or acrylic blend)
  • Embroidery needle
  • Embroidery Thread
  • Pattern

Instructions:

Lil Bunny
1. Cut out pattern shapes: 1 body, 4 ears, 2 feet.
2. Stitch 2 ear pieces together with a blanket stitch. Stitch second ear. Set aside.
3. Sew matching sides A together with a blanket stitch.
4. Continue sewing sides B, C, D, E and F together.
5. Embroider bunny nose, mouth and eyes on face panel.
6. Fill with polyfill fiber — be sure it’s firm!
7. Pinch the ears between G sides. Use a running stitch to close the gap and attach ears.
8. Sew feet to bottom and enjoy!

Lil' Cat
1. Cut out pattern shapes: 1 body, 2 feet.
2. Sew matching sides A together with a blanket stitch.
3. Continue sewing sides B, C, D, E and F together.
4. Embroider cat eyes, nose, mouth, whiskers and ears on front panel.
5. Fill with polyfill fiber — be sure it’s firm!
6. Stitch sides G together, stitch on feet and enjoy!
7. Optional: Sew the edges of a folded strip of fabric for a tail.

Lil' Pig
1. Cut out pattern shapes: 1 body, 1 nose, 4 ears, 2 feet.
2. Stitch 2 ear pieces together with a blanket stitch. Sew other ear. Set aside.
3. Sew matching sides A together with a blanket stitch.
4. Continue sewing sides B, C, D, E and F together.
5. Sew pig nose and embroider pig eyes on face panel.
6. Fill with polyfill fiber — be sure it’s firm!
7. Pinch ears between G sides. Use a running stitch to close the gap and attach ears.
8. Sew feet to bottom and enjoy!
