These baskets are adorable and I just love the fabric used in the tutorial for both the outer fabric and lining. I am wondering if using Peltex as the interfacing would give these even more stability? I have a bolt of it in my sewing room and maybe I'll give these a try over the weekend. I love quick sewing projects as sometimes we just need a fast finish and a project in the 'done' column!

Is the Peltex strong enough where I can put books in the baskets sideways and it not fall over? I have never used it. I love these fabric baskets and am going to make some out of fabric I got just because I thought it was pretty and never used it to put my crafts in but I have some books I use for my ancestry that I keep out but would like to put in something pretty. Did you make some yet?

Im really really a beginner in sewing with machine. So far I only do hand stitching, but would love to learn to use sewing machine. I think these baskets could be a nice project to begin with. The instruction is clear, and looks easy. Thank you for sharing this lovely project!

I love these fabric organizer baskets. A quick and easy sewing project that only requires less than one yard of fabric and some fusible interfacing. Great beginners project too. The tutorial was easy to follow. I especially like the squared off bottom as the fabric basket will then stand upright.
