These are adorable. No doubt kids would love them. Since slippers can take quite a lot of wear and tear and washing, I would be sure to sew them using a narrow zig zag stitch to make them extra secure. Reading through the tutorial carefully I realized that it takes some beginning sewing skills to make these. All in all a cute project.
