A scrap fabric belt is a great idea. Nice to go with jeans or summer time capris. A fusible create-a-strap interfacing product would make this project sew up quickly. There are so many inexpensive buckles that can be purchased or shop for vintage ones that would make personalizing this belt a nice gift idea.
