boring!!!!! been done a million times. I would use those ties to change the hemline.....think about it awhile and picture it.....imagination!!!

You say this is boring, yet I know a number of young people who have made this dress for the prom. And instead of making it 'yellow', and boring as you call this pattern they have made this dress their own. I wish I was allowed to take a photo when I saw some of these creations at the prom. There were four versions of the Goddess pattern at the prom. All four of the girls (who had limited sewing skills, and budgets) made the dresses their selves! And none of the dresses were the same, poorly made, or looked 'cheap'. When I retire, I might just make this one in black. I might also shorten it to just below the knee.
