Scrappy Strip Pillow Tutorial
From the Blogger: "Introducing the Scrappy Strip Pillow. It’s such a fun little sewing diversion and I encourage you to have a go at making one. It doesn't take long and you get to play with your scrap tubs, which is always a bonus, right?
If you don't like sewing with scraps, you can always go ahead and make this pillow with strips of your favorite fabrics. This project is also a great way to use small pieces of batting. It's a win-win project."

Another great project to use up all the scraps of fabric we sewists have laying around! The pillow is really cute and fun, would be a great addition to any bed or a nice gift. You could make it virtually any size you might need. The cording is a nice way to finish it as Linda mentioned and I like the idea from Marilyn B to reverse the direction of the slant on the other half. Also, using up some smaller pieces of batting you have left over is a good idea too.

What better way to learn to add cording to a pillow? This tutorial shows you how. It's useful to have instructions with DIY step by step photos and instructions.

Like the author says, this scrappy pillow pattern really is a win-win project! I have so many little pieces of fabric and this really serves well to use them, and sort of fun to arrange the pieces in complementary colors! As an alternative, you could reverse the direction of the slant an the other half! Fun project, thanks for sharing!
