I love scrap buster projects, especially when I have some really nicer high end scraps, you just hate to see those go to waste, and they make for such a pretty project! This tree would really lend itself to some brocades, metallics and velvet for a different look if your decor wasn't country or shabby chic. This project is so versatile, which makes it great for any sewer wanting a nice project to give or keep. And busting those fabric scraps too!

I loved this cushion! I've made one and can't wait to do another. My first one is not as nice as the pictured one but I'm hoping to improve my machine applique technique. Thanks so much for the tutorial and beautiful pics.

I'm thinking about making this as a gift for my mom and making it a family tree w/children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren's names on the leaves. This is just adorable
