Kids are always doing a day when you need to dress as another country and a lot of kids choose franceand they wear a lot of berets so here is a neat tutorial to make one using fleece. Also for some reason kids are opsessed with berets in my granddaughters school. They are not that hard to make and makes a cute hat. Also fun to make. Have you made one yet?

This little beret pattern is so adorable! What a fun project this would be for a girlie craft night, a Girl Scout troop,or church group! Use fabric for your high school sport team, and have cheerleaders and team supporters wear it In the stands! A,fun way to,show unity! Or just make it for yourself in the fleece as shown or other classy fabric to dress it up a bit, like a tapestry or brocade, although those woven may not flex as well... Great idea and pattern... So cute! Thank you for sharing!
