This is a great little project! You can easily put some thicker padding inside these and make them lovely trivets or pot holders.... You can set those hot dishes directly on top of these for serving at the table. Display several linked together for a super fall garland or mantle piece, or side buffet table topper. Make it into a wall hanging by adding buttons or sequins and embellishing the veining with metalic cording sewn in with a zig zag stitch! S creative and fun!
