Designer-Inspired Distressed Patch Shorts
From the Blogger: "Get ready for summer with these distressed patch denim shorts! These cut-off shorts were inspired by a pair for sale in a department store for about $200. You can make these for a fraction of the price! Start with a pair of shorts (or old jeans) and begin positioning your patches. You can find on-trend patches at the craft store, or you can add some throwback flair with childhood scout patches! Remember to layer a few for extra dimension and visual interest. Then, stitch the patches into place and embellish around them with basic embroidery details like hearts, stars, and dots. These fun and trendy shorts take only an afternoon to complete and can be worn all summer long."

I feel like I'm going to make these at the end of summer. I would have had the perfect denim shorts for summer given that patches and embroidery made a huge comeback. Trends are always expensive but this one doesn't have to be since all you need is patches and a sewing needle and you're done in thirty minutes

I'm a big fan of anything 90s inspired, so I love this idea, even though I don't do shorts. I actually have a few old Girl Scout badges that I could try this with!
