"Have you ever made a biscornu? They are so much fun. The complicated looking 3d shape is actually made from 2 simple squares, the clever shape comes from how they are sewn together. You embroidery your design onto the squares first and then the 2 pieces are hand sewn together. It really is like magic! Here is a simple blackwork design that I worked in a variegated embroidery thread to make a mini biscornu. Once finished your biscornu can be a pincushion or a scissor fob - or both!"
